ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND AD-RELATED DEMENTIA ORGANIZATION RESOURCES

  • ALZConnected is a free online community for everyone affected by Alzheimer's or other dementia.
  • The Lewy Body Dementia Association raises awareness, supports people and families affected by Lewy body disease, and promotes scientific advances toward finding a cure.
  • CurePSP is a leading source of information and support for patients and their families, researchers and health care professionals about neurodegenerative disorders, including progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, multiple system atrophy and related diseases.

OTHER STATE & NATIONAL RESOURCES

  • The Florida Department of Elder Affairs provides a comprehensive resource guide to issues related to aging, with sections devoted specifically to Alzheimer’s disease and Caregiving.
  • The State of Florida works with local law enforcement in support of the Silver Alert program, which helps locate people with dementia who become lost or are otherwise missing. To initiate a Silver Alert, contact your local police department.
